When using domain administrators

If you are a student/parent or work for a company/school that uses EDU-SLICK services, your domain administrator and IT Consultant will have access to your EDU-SLICK SAT APP account.

They might be able to do the following:

  • To access and keep the data you've saved in your account, including your email.
  • Change/Reset the password for your account.
  • Archive your account access.

Use of AI Functionality

Edu-Slick includes AI-powered features to assist staff in generating lesson notes, plans, and educational questions. These AI functionalities are designed to enhance the educational experience and support staff in content creation.

Data Collection and Processing

When using the AI functionalities, Edu-Slick may process user inputs, including text data entered to generate lesson plans, notes, and educational questions. This data is processed by the AI to provide relevant responses or suggestions and is not stored permanently.

Data Privacy and Security

We are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of our users' data. Data processed by the AI functionalities is not used for purposes other than generating educational content. Edu-Slick does not share this data with third parties, except as required by law.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for ensuring that any data they input into the AI functionalities does not violate third-party rights or contain sensitive personal information. Edu-Slick is not responsible for any content generated by the AI based on user inputs.

Limitations of AI

The AI functionalities are intended to assist with educational content creation but should not replace professional judgment. Users should review all AI-generated content to ensure it meets educational standards and needs.

Geolocation Data/ Your Location Information

By using the EDU-SLICK APP or any of our product and services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your location data as described in this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not download or use the App.

What location data we collect

Your location can be determined with varying degrees of accuracy by:

  • GPS data from your device
  • Tracking Attendance for Staff/Student
  • Activity on our service such as EDU-SLICK SAT APP, for Scanning your Staff/Student ID Card.

EDU-SLICK SAT APP collect location data to enable QR Location of the Staff/Student ID Card for attendance and does not work when the App is closed or when not in use.

You must allow access to be able to use the EDU-SLICK SAT APP if Denied access to the App the first time, kindly go to your app settings on your phone to allow location access.

The types of location data we collect and the length of time we keep it are determined in part by your device and account settings. For example, you can toggle your Android device's location using the settings app.

Analytics

We may use third-party Service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
